Our King Suites are a popular choice. After a busy day sightseeing, come back to your room to relax. Watch a little bit of television in the sitting area, or enjoy a nice soak in the whirl pool bath.

Our suites are decorated with warm colors and local photos to make you feel cozy and at home. Our beds have nice fluffy pillows and firm mattresses that mean you'll have a pleasant sleep. Family Room

This room consists of two adjoining bedrooms with an ensuite bath. The larger bedroom has two double beds with a flat-screen TV, as well as an armchair and closet. The smaller bedroom has a single bed, armchair, dresser and refrigerator. Small Single Room
(Economic Room)

This economical room is much smaller than the standard Queen room. It is great for a single traveller or two people on a tight budget. You'll enjoy a full Queen or Double bed with a nice firm mattress and plush pillows. You can relax in peace after partaking in the many adventures around our community.

Enjoy the satellite television in the room or access the hotel wireless internet. Other amenities include a hair dryer, standing shower, air conditioning, mini-fridge and ceiling fan.

Although the room is smaller, you still have access to all of the hotel's amenities and are within walking distance of downtown Pictou's attractions. These rooms do not have harbour views.

PLEASE NOTE
  • Because Breaside Inn is a historical building circa 1938, we  DO NOT have an elevator.  There are also no rooms on the ground floor.  We do have wide and sturdy stairways - most seniors do not find this difficult.
  • We have on-site laundry facilities available.
  • Free public parking is available on the property.
  • We have free high-speed wireless internet.
  • We operate a NON-SMOKING property, but we do have an outdoor designated smoking area.
  • Braeside Inn is not responsible for the loss or damage to personal items and vehicles while staying at the Inn.  We do have a 30-day lost and found.
  • Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate pets because of the layout of our building's facilities, common guest access (no walk-out rooms) and respect for allergies. Our property is unsuitable for service dog, but if guests insist, the service dog must be accompanied by official certificates. 
  • A valid Credit Card is required to make a booking. 
  • Late checkout is availble on request only for an additional $10/hr with a 2 hour maximum. 


OUR POLICIES


Non Smoking Property:
We operate a NON-SMOKING property – this includes e-cigarettes and medicinal herbs. We have a designated outdoor smoking area you can use. Guests will be charged for all expenses, and any lost revenues incurred to eliminate smoke and/or odors from their rooms or any area inside the Inn.

Children & Extra Guests:
Children are always welcome at Braeside. Children under 5 years (max 2) stay free of charge when using existing beds. All older children or adults are charged CAD $15 per person per night when using existing beds. There is no capacity for additional beds in any of our rooms. Pricing may vary without notice, during local special events. 

Cancellation:
The guest can cancel free of charge until 3 days before arrival. The guest will be charged the cost of the first night if they cancel within the 3 days before arrival.

Group booking policies differ from individual bookings. Reservations of three rooms or more are considered group bookings.Group bookings may be cancelled free of charge up to 30 days prior to the arrival date. Cancellations made after this deadline will be charged the full amount of the reservation.

Damage or missing items:
Any damage to hotel property or missing items from your room will be charged to your credit card.

Oversize Vehicles & Trailers:
Free public parking for large vehicles is available across the street from the Inn, or in our overflow parking up the hill.
