All room rates include a free continental breakfast.

We welcome guests for Check-In anytime after 3:00pm. Check-Out time is 11:00am.

All rates are shown in Canadian Dollars and do not include applicable taxes (15%). Payment may be made by Debit, Visa, MasterCard or Cash.

OUR POLICIES

Non Smoking Property:
We operate a NON-SMOKING property – this includes e-cigarettes and medicinal herbs. We have a designated outdoor smoking area you can use. Guests will be charged for all expenses, and any lost revenues incurred to eliminate smoke and/or odors from their rooms or any area inside the Inn.

Children & Extra Guests:
Children are always welcome at Braeside. Children under 5 years (max 2) stay free of charge when using existing beds. All older children or adults are charged CAD $15 per person per night when using existing beds. There is no capacity for additional beds in any of our rooms. Pricing may vary without notice, during local special events.

Cancellation:
Full refunds will be given if cancellation notice is given more than 3 days before expected arrival. For cancellations within 3 days, our policy is to charge for a single night's stay.

Damage or missing items:
Any damage to hotel property or missing items from your room will be charged to your credit card.

Oversize Vehicles & Trailers:
Free public parking for large vehicles is available across the street from the Inn, or in our overflow parking up the hill.

PLEASE NOTE

Because Breaside Inn is a historical building circa 1938, we DO NOT have an elevator. There are also no rooms on the ground floor. We do have wide and sturdy stairways - most seniors do not find this difficult.
We have on-site laundry facilities available.
Free public parking is available on the property.
We have free high-speed wireless internet.
We operate a NON-SMOKING property, but we do have an outdoor designated smoking area.
Braeside Inn is not responsible for the loss or damage to personal items and vehicles while staying at the Inn. We do have a 30-day lost and found.
Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate pets because of the layout of our building's facilities, common guest access (no walk-out rooms) and respect for allergies. Our property is unsuitable for service dog, but if guests insist, the service dog must be accompanied by official certificates. There will be $165 + HST charges for any cleaning resulting from animal fur or dander in the rooms and around the property in public areas, lobby, stairs and corridors.

King Suite Our King Suites are a popular choice. After a busy day sightseeing, come back to your room to relax. Watch a little bit of television in the sitting area, or enjoy a nice soak in the whirl pool bath. Our suites are decorated with warm colors and local photos to make you feel cozy and at home. Our beds have nice fluffy pillows and firm mattresses that mean you'll have a pleasant sleep. Standard King Our King rooms feature scenic views of Pictou Harbour. They have one king bed, a private bathroom, closet, desk a desk and chair, and an arm chair to sit and enjoy the view. Amenities include bar-fridge, air conditioning & ceiling fan, satellite TV, free Wi-Fi, ironing board, telephone, alarm clock and replica antique radio. Standard Queen Our Standard Queen rooms feature one queen bed, a private bathroom, closet, desk a desk and chair, and an arm chair to sit and enjoy the view. Amenities include bar-fridge, air conditioning & ceiling fan, satellite TV, free Wi-Fi, ironing board, telephone and alarm clock. Most queen rooms have a replica antique radio and harbour view. Family Room This room consists of two adjoining bedrooms with an ensuite bath. The larger bedroom has two double beds with a flat-screen TV, as well as an armchair and closet. The smaller bedroom has a single bed, armchair, dresser and refrigerator. Amenities include a hair dryer, bathtub with shower, satellite TV, free Wi-Fi, ironing board, air conditioning and two ceiling fans.	BEDS: 2 Double Beds, 1 Twin Bed Maximum Occupancy: 3-5 People Standard Rates: FROM CAD $199 - $279 BOOK YOUR ROOM Note: Rate is applicable for 3 People. Add $15 for each extra person.

Double Room Our Double rooms feature scenic views of Pictou Harbour. They have two double beds, a private bathroom with a tub and shower, a desk and chair, and an armchair to sit and enjoy the view. Amenities include a mini-fridge, air conditioning & ceiling fan, satellite TV, free Wi-Fi, ironing board, telephone, alarm clock and a replica antique radio. Single Room (Economic Queen) This economical room is much smaller than the standard Queen room. It is great for a single traveller or two people on a tight budget. You'll enjoy a full Queen bed with a nice firm mattress and plush pillows. You can relax in peace after partaking in the many adventures around our community. Enjoy the satellite television in the room or access the hotel wireless internet. Other amenities include a hair dryer, standing shower, air conditioning, mini-fridge and ceiling fan. Although the room is smaller, you still have access to all of the hotel's amenities and are within walking distance of downtown Pictou's attractions. These rooms do not have harbour views.
