What Our Guests Have To Say
Linda was an exceptional host. She went above and beyond to make our stay very comfortable. Our room was a great space - beds were the most comfortable we’ve slept on in years of travel. Breakfast was delicious.

This property is one of the top best of all the ones we’ve stayed at on our 2,500 miles (plus) road trip. It is beautiful & well-kept inside & out. The friendly, honest & helpful owners anticipate & provide for all their guests’ needs & more in order to make them feel comfortable & right at home. It is well-situated, with a great view of the harbor & ships, & conveniently located close to great restaurants, shops & all the amenities you want. It’s also quite close & convenient to catch the ferry to & from Prince Edward Island, only 10 minutes away. We highly recommend it!

The inn's lobby & dining areas are lovely & nicely furnished. The room was clean & comfortable. Continental breakfast was excellent. The owner was very kind, friendly, & attentive. She would offer to help with luggage, if she saw someone having difficulty. She works hard to provide a clean, safe environment for her guests.

I love seeing older buildings continue to be useful. So much character and history. Gorgeous location and view here, we loved our quick stay. Beautiful little town!Beautiful property. Loved the old world feel and the attention that the owner paid to the guests. She had genuine interest in making your stay a great experience. The entire place was spotless.

What a great old inn by the water. Host was exceptional and accommodating for our early departure. Wish we could stay longer and hang out in the parlor. Overall a very comfortable stay.

We booked last minute as we wanted a place close to PEI ferry. We were late but Linda was there to check us in. We thought we’d miss breakfast as we wanted to catch the first ferry. They let us start breakfast early. The breakfast room is big and classic. Also one of our best breakfasts on our trip. Nice view of harbour.

Excellent service.

The Inn is well maintained and is very clean and comfortable. The host was friendly and welcoming and very knowledgeable about the area. The complimentary continental breakfast is a bonus.

Feels like home: I didn't stay long as my plane was delayed by 3 hours but the hostess was very kind and thoughtful and had my room all warmed up and ready for me at 230 a.m. I called from the plane before take off to tell her I would be very late and she was very understanding. The room was very clean and comfortable and had all the comforts of home. Breakfast was delicious. I will definitely stay here again. Thank you for a terrific stay

Charming old style Country Inn: The Braeside Country Inn is a very nice old style hotel. It was built in the late 1930s and its owners have maintained it very well. It has kept a lot of its original touches and charm, while still being modernized for today's travelers. The rooms are not very large, but they are very clean and comfortable. A good buffet-style breakfast is serve in the morning in a beautiful dining room. The owner is very friendly and helpful, providing many restaurant suggestions around town. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Calm and peaceful: Quaint Inn from the early 1930's. It was what we expected from an inn from that time. Comfortable, clean, hospitality was all good. Continental breakfast incl.I really enjoyed my stay. It reminded me of a country B&B in the UK. It was a pleasant change from the modern. I highly recommend it.

Beautiful old building, fine location, room is clean and quite. Amazing service, great breakfast. The view of the harbour was incredible. It is our most comfortable stay in two weeks travel on the road.

I would stay there again. The location is awesome - close to a walking trail and town. I had the smallest single room good for one person in a pinch - i was working the whole time so it was fine. The woman who owns the hotel was extremely friendly and helpful. It is a cosy atmosphere - i met other people who were staying there and we had supper together. The place is very inviting to spwak to other guests unlike a big hotel.

It was like going back in time in the best way possible yet still having the conveniences of now. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The common areas were amazing. The staff were friendly and accommodating. Will go back again.!

Such a quaint inn and one I stayed in 14 years ago with my mother. I found our entries in the guest book! The "continental" breakfast was hot and cold cereal, toast, fruit, yogurt, juices, pasty ,cheese, maffin and hard boiled eggs. Very filling! The beds were so comfortable, view to harbor, very clean.
